I'm such a big fan that actually, the opening season -- the season opener game was in Carolina. The Carolina Hurricanes, and I was filming in Asheville. And so, we decided to drive to Raleigh, which is a four-hour drive, first of all... -Wow. -...for this game. -Yeah. -And it's always kind of awkward when you get to those things, because they want to put you on the jumbotron. -Of course. -But I'm wearing the Islanders jersey at their home game -- the Hurricanes' home game. -Yeah, they don't like that. -No. -Yeah. -So they start booing me. Like -- "Chloe Grace Moretz." And they're like, "Boo!" -No! -Swear to God. And I was like, "Oh, my God. What do I do?" And not only -- on top of that, the mascot comes down. This big, massive mascot named Stormy. And he's like, "Put on the jersey." You know, no one needs the Islanders. Become the Hurricanes." And I was like, "No, I don't think that's a good idea." And I see all the Islanders hockey players right in front of me, just staring at me, pressuring me not to do it. And then, I didn't do it. -Not only -- [ Cheers and applause ] That's a real fan. I love that you love hockey, and I was also -- I heard that you like fly fishing? -Well, okay. So, I didn't think I would like fly fishing. -I would love fly fishing. -I didn't know, because I've, like, only fished a couple times when I was a kid, and I was like, "Well, you know, fly fishing looks more fun. You kind of get to get into it." And so I was in Colorado at a place called Dunton Hot Springs, and they were like, "Do you want to go fly fishing?" so I said yes. And I didn't end up just catching like one fish, I caught seven fish. [ Cheers and applause ] And I got the grand slam, which is all four kinds of trout. -This is wild. -And I only got a picture of two fish, but no one believed me after that. Everyone was like, "No, you didn't. You didn't actually get all these fish. -Wait. I mean, it's a small fish but it's still... -Come on! -Respect for that. But there's a skill to the fly -- I think I would be too -- I'd be too manic. -Yeah, just a little bit too -- -I would bum people out, and they'd tell me to please leave. -The guy was like -- one kid came in and actually got him in the eye with the hook. -Yeah, of course. It's dangerous. And I was like, "Oh, God!" -[ Laughs ] -"See, I knew this was a dangerous sport." -We just did a segment on the show called "Show Me Something Good" where we asked people who have any hidden talents or secret talents. I know you're a talented actress, obviously. But is there any talents that we don't know about? -Well, I told you that I was a diehard hockey fan. -Yeah. -But what a lot of people don't know is that I'm a pretty diehard Britney Spears fan. -Really? -Oh, yeah. [ Cheers and applause ] Yeah, like Britney is my life. You know? She's everything to me. And I even decided to theme my birthday party a Britney party. I think it'd be really fun to see where Hit-Girl goes and what she's like as an adult. But I think It would have to be kind of perfect. You know, I feel like it would need to be, across the board, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Chris Mintz-Plasse and the whole crew back together. -And as funny and as perfect as the other two were. -Yeah. You're gonna be Kick-Ass, though, this time. Don't tell Aaron. -No. I want to talk about "Mother/Android." -Yeah. -This is on Hulu. Can you tell everyone what it's about? -Yeah, it's about a young couple named Sam and Georgia. And they're at a crossroads in their relationship. And, basically, on one night, she finds out that she's pregnant with their child. And we cut nine months later, and it ends up on that same night that there was an artificial-intelligence revolution. So anything connected to power. And it happens that, in this near-future, we have robots, too. And so, we cut nine months later, she's pregnant, and she has to get to Boston to have their baby safely. -Yeah. -And I was trekking across the mountains. -Yeah. And what was it? Like, that seems like a lot. -Running and -- -Running up the mountains. -Yeah, away from robots. -Yeah, being super pregnant. So, we did that, and we actually attached it to a corset. Because I really wanted to feel like -- You know, with a pregnant woman running through the woods, they didn't want me to be super agile and able to, you know, get through it perfectly. So I wanted to have the shortness of breath and to have it feel realistic. -Yeah, see? That's what I'm talking about. That's what I'm talking about. That's how you do it right there, ladies and gentlemen. That's how you do a craft. You get right in and you go, "No, no, no, I got to do it this way." I want to show a clip. Here's Chloë Grace Moretz in "Mother/Android." Take a look at this. -I know you're not gonna like this. But I need you to hear me out. I'm trying to be smart. You could have this baby today, or in a week. And I don't feel good about waiting on the edge of No Man's Land, hoping no one finds us. -You want to go straight through. -It's 20 miles. And if we take this bike, we can get there by the end of the day. -What happened to going quietly, Sam? What changed since last night? -Chloë Grace Moretz, everybody. Next time. -Yeah. For sure. Pinky swear. -"Mother/Android" is available on Hulu December 17th.
